Alumni Update
We are forming a Cape Byron Rudolf Steiner School Alumni so that we can keep in touch with our graduate students. An Alumni is a great resource to former students, building a network of support that will gradually spread across the world. An Alumni is also a great resource to the school and students, and members become ambassadors at large. Already we have Alumni members in Melbourne and Brisbane who are giving support to our recent graduates, helping them to settle in to their new career pathways.
In this update I would like to mention a few of the students who are currently furthering their studies in degree courses. Jaya and Sashi have recently won places in Photography at the Victorian College of the Arts, while Priya and Natalia have won places in Fine Art / Fashion at QUT. Meanwhile Dylan continues his film studies at QUT and Rebecca her final year of Media Arts at Deakin. Julian is entering his second year in Industrial Design at QUT while Mia has completed her Steiner teaching studies at Parsifal College and continues her Early Childhood degree in Sydney. Pani has also decided to further his career in photography and is shortly commencing a degree in Melbourne. Martin, after a year overseas is returning to an Engineering Degree in IT at QUT. Nimai cleaned up with straight honours in his first year of study in graphics.
We are currently receiving very positive feedback about our students. The talent and high standards of our graduates' folio work is being noted and commented upon by heads of department at several universities. The success of our Alumni reflects well on our school and our current students who aspire to the same high standards.
